We live and play in the Pacific Northwest on Puget Sound where Orca whale migrations are legendary. Orcas are not only a huge tourist attraction here, but also considered a local area "favorite son." They are a constant delight to residents who even lovingly name the whales, their offspring and the different pods (groups).

Founder and Principal
Paul O'Beirne,as principal of ORCA, has over 25 years of experience working in Senior Human Resource Leadership roles in the dynamic software and hardware industry.
Paul divides his time between executive coaching, leadership training, and aligning companies' vision and strategy for ultimate business success. His experience is diverse. He has started businesses from the ground up but also designed organizational blueprints and governance models for complex global matrixes companies.
From Ireland to India, China, the United Kingdom and of course, the US, Paul has had the opportunity in his career to be a part of a very diverse set of business roles to include operations, sales and marketing, international products and worldwide research and development. He left his corporate role in the hi-tech industry to pursue a Masters in Organizational Leadership.
Paul is passionate about helping his clients receive the most effective and inspiring training possible so they can achieve all their personal and organizational goals.

Kerrie Rose brings over 17 years of international corporate HR and consulting experience partnering with clients to support a range of business initiatives through their people strategies.
Kerrie's areas of expertise include talent management, team development, organization design, job analysis, competency profiling and leadership assessment and development. Kerrie has worked across a broad range of industries including life sciences, biotech, manufacturing, tech, non-profit and professional services. She feels extremely fortunate to have had the opportunity to have lived and worked in multiple countries including Australia, Ireland, the UK, Benelux, and now the US, providing her with a unique cross-cultural perspective and the ability to adapt to almost any environment.
Drawing on her formal training as an Organizational Psychologist, Kerrie is known for her engaging workshops, workforce insights and practical approach to enabling organizations and individuals achieve results through their people. This is where her passion lies.Kerrie is a SHRM Senior Certified Professional. She holds a Master of Organizational Psychology, and a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology major).

With over 15 years of experience managing and operating in industries such as restaurant, catering, construction, and now leadership development, Jessie's precise attention to detail and organizational skills provide excellent customer service while aligning business matters and managing ORCA's numerous projects behind the scenes.
Jessie enjoys working with Paul and today's leaders to help them and their organizations become the most successful they can be.
Michael Ervick is a seasoned professional with over 25 years of management consulting experience. He has served corporate and startup clients from across the nation in the areas of Business Strategy, Architecture, Transformation and Operational Excellence.
Michael’s areas of expertise include Business Architecture, Quality and Process Improvement, Small Business Economics, Entrepreneurship & Intrapreneurship, Program Leadership and Organizational Change Management.
As a consultant, Michael has experience working with leaders, managers and teams from government, Fortune 500 businesses, entrepreneurs, cities, non-profit organizations and Chambers of Commerce. Clients include the Department of Energy, the Department of Navy, Boeing, Ford, Microsoft, AT&T, Costco and many more.
During his free time he teaches business courses at the University of Washington Bothell and volunteers as a SCORE Mentor.
After traveling the world with the United States Navy, Michael earned a BS in Finance and Human Resource Management from Central Washington University. A few years later he earned an MBA in Operations Management from the Albers School of Business and Economics at Seattle University, and a post graduate Masters Certificate in Project Management from the Stevens Institute of Technology. In addition, he has earned professional certificates in TQM, Six Sigma, LEAN, TOC, Agile, ITIL and Business Process Management.
