Janet Livingstone

Janet has 25 years of leadership development, coaching, and program management experience on five continents in six languages.  As lead facilitator and instructional designer for the Boeing Global Strategic Initiatives team, she has leveraged her experience to develop new business and deliver programming for aviation leaders in China, India, and SE Asia. With lived experience from 16 years in Central Europe and several more living in Zambia, Russia and Canada, Janet brings a unique perspective on diverse leadership styles and cultural contexts from across the globe.  She has also consulted to organizations on strategic planning in numerous other countries, including large nonprofits.  One of the keys to Janet’s success is significant foreign language skills; she speaks French, Italian, Spanish, Slovak, Russian and German. Mandarin is a work in progress.

As an executive coach, Janet’s focus is on leadership, and intercultural competence. It’s this combination that makes her a key partner in international expansion, and inclusive workplace development. Her clients include the mobile operator O2/Telefonica, the Slovak Ministry of Finance, China Southern Airlines, IBM and Allianz. In addition to individual executive coaching, Janet enjoys working with teams to enhance their communication, cohesion and performance. On the creative side, Janet is a board member and podcast producer for a feminist humor magazine and cares deeply about gender equality.
