Randy is an expert leadership coach and facilitator with more than 25 years’ experience working to develop high performance individuals, teams and organizations. He has extensive training and practice in experiential education, as well as advanced education in Executive Coaching and Organizational Development. Randy works with leaders from all over the world in fortune 500 companies, as well as not for profits, higher education, and startups in a range of industries including high tech, energy and entertainment. Today Randy helps senior leaders in Fortune 500 companies as well as privately held companies to increase their leadership capacity and grow senior leaders within their organizations for sustained repeatable success.
In his early career, Randy split his time between guiding wilderness and international expeditions and designing and delivering adventure based corporate team development events. Here he learned about the practical application of effective leadership, teamwork, followership, relationship building and effectiveness. Randy’s advanced education in Cultural Anthropology (BA) and Applied Behavioral Science (MA) has honed his awareness and skills in challenging and supporting leaders and organizations to achieve their highest aspirations. During his focused career, Randy has helped hundreds of organizations and thousands of individuals in diverse environments to build more effective organizational, team and leadership behaviors, specifically focused on developing and sustaining effective leadership habits in the workplace, inspiring clear and consistent team behaviors, and creating inspirational organizational focus and alignment for better business results.
Over the past 15 years, Randy has worked as leadership coach, facilitator and trainer with senior leaders at Microsoft, Amazon, Zillow, Expedia, Sony, Shell, and other successful global companies.
Randy has lived, worked, studied and traveled in more than 35 countries, which informs his global systems approach, as well as his appreciation and ability to leverage the unique diversity that each of us bring to the leadership challenge. He now lives on Bainbridge Island in Washington state with his 16 year old son, Cliff.
